For contract printing, my philosophy has and always will be the onus of accuracy is mutually owned by both the customer/vendor.
Again when do dot get paid for other peoples mistakes counting should be included, And they do. We had an 80K pc order which took about a week to reconcile
not my current co btw

We only do contract work. Yes we always count every piece at least 3 times.  Right when it hits the loading dock, at press /machine and at the end of the job. Especially important with our embroidery side. Some of the garments cost a lot compare to teeshirts.  Our customers love that we notify them of any issues.   Giving them the time to fix the issue before production or event deadlines.  Also saves time to have product ready to go.
