dip tank question
« on: February 28, 2014, 01:10:56 PM »
I got a tank a while back, but since I don't much printing these days I never set it up and continued doing spray and manual method.

My question is - if I set up the tank and use it infrequently, any guess as to how long the chemicals would remain active or usable?  It would certainly beat the manual effort.

If you use just a reclaim solution and not a two-in-one ink/reclaim then it will last months.

Even at heavy use of 25+ screens a day tanks can last 3-6 months before you need to clean them out. You refresh the chemical every couple weeks.
When not in use, put a cover over it to stop some evaporation in drier climates.
