That's nothing new it's been around for years the old azz multi printers table didn't come up the print head went down..all the modern press's now that use this are designed way better and and no where as heavy as the older press's were, but here is my question what are the pros & cons of this.

1 will this type press take more air
2 central off contact vs each head contact adjustment
3 more air lines and possible air leaks to run down

Not at all. There will be both types for many years to come. That is for sure..

I guess you are right D, I didn't think about those centurions and such.  You bring up a good point about air consumption, pros/cons, and central off contact vs indi. I think central, and indi is pretty awesome. Looks like more table raise/lower using servos vs air lift might be coming in.

And I see Rich's point about table lift lower staying around. Talking with different printers and their needs/preferences, I've heard mixed desires. I know one guy most of us on this board know who although his business is growing super fast has no desire in a press where screens come down to the board, and prefers just moving up or adding presses with the conventional lift/lower carousel. I guess it all boils down to the individual's wants or needs. Personally, I and my wife like the idea of individual screen frames coming down to the pallet for a few reasons. It's just good to see the manufacturers stepping up to the plate and offering some new tech!!!

Hang in there man. When I was going through this I kept thinking "dear lord, what would this be like if it was an auto".  I don't even want to imagine what you're going through.

I am in need a Technician for my Anatol machine.  (Stratus 8/10 all electric) 

Press needs:
-complete machine Calibration
  leveling screen holders, pallets etc....
-Centering all Bearings to the catch forks
-Replacing all proximity switches, help in ordering the correct replacement parts
-Trouble shoot electrical issues funky errors and such
The damn foot petal just quit working while I am typing this >:(
-Chopper cylinders do not work correctly

I do not have the time or want to take pictures of various parts and areas of my press and wait 3-5 days for a response that does absolutely nothing to help.   

I am located in South MS

Last shop I worked at as a lead screen printer (in Mid South Alabama) also used Anatol equipment. 6/6 manual worked like a champ, but virtually all of the problems you listed, we constantly had with our automatic - a 10/12 Stratus II.

Controls on each of the heads quit working, cylinders always needed replacing, choppers not working properly (some getting uneven pressure, and see-sawing up, causing the squeegee to "walk" sideways into the screen frame, shocks on each head were constantly busting and leaking fluid everywhere, even though head speed was slow, air lines leaked inside the booms, No. 10 head hadn't worked since the machine was set up...just a laundry list of problems. We had a tech come and service it once, and within a month it was back to it's old rickety self again.

IMO, Anatol equipment leaves a lot to be desired. Another shop I worked at as a graphic artist used M&R automatic and WorkHorse manuals. Never a single problem.

Not sure what the question is exactly but my comment is in reference to the fact that, as demonstrated here and in many threads, the newer batches of these machines have many problems.  It can take literally months to get even smaller issues resolved or parts ordered and often your problem will not be resolved and then enter this limbo stage of radio silence where it seems it never will.  Post something publicly about it and all of the sudden parts can be had, problems can be solved.

Chris(Parker1) did you ever get your situation straightened out? I know you said you were having Spot Color Supply come your way to work on the press, I'm just hoping you got the correct parts and were able to get running right again! Update us!

Brannon from Spot color is due in tomorrow.  My press was never down just runs and prints like crap.  Some chopper cylinders are not working properly and some electrical glitches.  I ordered some solenoids from Anatol and they have arrived and I plan on replacing those tonight after we finish with production today.  We are headed into our busy season (for us) and I can not afford to fumble-fart around with my press with band aide fixes.  It causes a lot of anxiety when we are booked up for 2-3 weeks and I wonder if the press will perform or break down causing missed deadlines and to loose customers (which translates into loss income).  I will list everything Brannon does to my press, and what the results are.  I also only called Anatol for parts NOT service (due to past experiences) and they delivered the parts, I also made sure they have a lift cylinder for my press so if Brannon tells me it needs to be replaced I can overnight it in.

Hats off to Brannon with Spot Color Supply.  Below is a list and I am sure to leave some things off or may be unclear.
 
-Plum the shaft (was not too far off)
-Calibrated the press (included shimming & leveling all the heads, pallets, screen holders and print arms / centering pallet arms to print heads)
-Replaced the lift cylinder (had it delivered next day from Anatol)
-Replaced all the proximity sensors on the print heads
-Fixed air leaks
-Checked the registration bearings (surprisingly did not have to adjust any)
-Fixed issues with the chopper cylinders, by increasing the pressure from 40psi too 80psi/  I no longer use this for adjusting my Squeegee pressures.   

My machine now runs smoother/ quitter (no more bangs and pings when indexing and when the table lifts) and prints MUCH better.  I have ran more than 1200 impressions since Brannon left and it has NEVER ran so well (everything from pocket prints to half tones, we are in the middle of a 1400 bag run now).  Brannon is very professional, and I am VERY pleased with the work he did (nothing was done half *$$).  Anatol's support team also deserves a nod for getting me the parts I needed overnighted.  Thanks again to Brannon and Scott at Spot Color Supply and I highly recommend their services.
