We just did a glitter print last week. You can get the glitter from http://www.jantexinks.com/specialties.htm

We put a ton into a slightly tinted shape base through a 40, and it came out sweet.
We under based it white, then the pink we wanted, then the tinted base with glitter. Came out rad.

If you add enough glitter to white, it may work, but I would be looking to do it with clear.

On this job, we tried crystallina, and we didn't get the effect we were wanting.

Hope it helps!

Never add glitter to white.  It will get covered by the pigment.

Conversely:  When adding colorant/pigment to any glitter/shimmer/jeweltone/metallic/etc (for tinting and whatnot)  Never add white or black as it will start to cloud up reallllly quickly.  Your sparkle will disappear FAST.

As for the Adhesion of sugar crystals:

You need to be able to "press" the flake into the ink somehow.  Otherwise 60%-80% will fall off within 3 washes.
