Does anyone know if it's safe to store 142 flash solvent in a blue plastic barrel? i can't find whether or not it'll eat through it or not

"generally" The big blue barrels are HDPE or similar plastic, "generally" they are fine for most solvents. Sorry, no specifics, I'm not familiar with that particular solvent, and "blue barrel" leaves some question too, maybe check and see what plastic it is, it should have a recycle mark on the bottom and a plastic-type identifier on it.
