They are T8 unfiltered blacklight bulbs and are 18 inches long.

I thought I found some cheap ones on amazon for $5.95 each, but 8 days later they still have not shipped :(

I am about to buy the $15.00 ones on ryonet unless I can find some locally.

http://www.silkscreeningsupplies.com/product/RXP2024

Thats $127.00 worth of bulbs though...

I wonder if  these are just grow lights or lights for reptiles I see at the pet store...

I cant screen print until I get new bulbs! :(

Can anyone help me here? Any suitable replacements that I may be able to find locally here in San Diego or order online for cheaper than Ryonet???

Thank you! :)

What are the bulb specs? I know we were able to buy the correct ones for our long gone vaster at Home Depot, maybe yours will be available there as well. None of these guys use anything special in their units just typical BL flourescent  bulbs.

Was going to say to look for the high UV output unfiltered bulbs in the high nano range.

I paid something like $20 per 4' bulb when I had the Lawson exposure. Was cooking Diazo at 2-3 minutes and holding wicked detail.

yeah, probably smart to order them since you are losing more money wasting time trying to save a few bucks.

probably should order some extras too.  I keep at least 1 extra bulb around for our unit....and they are around $300 each.

They aren't $5.95 and they have a good rating...one person even used them on their exposure unit.

Don't feel bad, the bulb for our unit is about $360....and I keep a spare or two.

I feel pretty lucky, last time I bought a new bulb for my olec, it was less than $200.

this is a 7500w bulb.  I can understand the price.  The old Nuarc we had was around $100-$120.
