Ted Stahl, executive chairman, GroupeSTAHL, and Brian Sukarukoff, chief executive officer, welcomed nearly 200 ISS Long Beach show attendees to a special preview breakfast in Stahls’ Decorating Welcome Center on Friday, January 17 before the start of the show. The over-arching topic at the preview was the major “sea change” going on in the industry, with a focus on the demand for performance wear and full-color logos.
In addition to a continental breakfast and goodie tote bag consisting of a limited edition signed T-shirt designed by Dane Clement and heat applied product samples on useful accessories and gear, guests were presented with more ways to decorate than ever, including solutions to challenges brought on by new trends.
Stahls’ introduced several new technologies, each designed to help decorators accommodate their customers’ need and become more profitable. Information included the debut of Stahls’ new TEK Line™ of heat transfer materials, a breakthrough technology that allows low temperature applications with stretch and rebound on performance and highly technical fabrics. In partnership with Epson, Stahls’ featured the most advanced Direct-to-Garment printer, the SureColor F2000.
Stahls’ also announced a partnership with The Wild Side, one of the industry’s most respected transfer manufacturers that offers a huge collection of amazing high-definition stock transfers.
Great Dane Graphics, another member of the GroupeSTAHL family, was on hand to talk to guests about art that sells shirts, whether it’s done with DTG printing, screen printing, heat printing, print/cut, CAD-CUT®, or sublimation. Guests learned more about CadworxLIVE® another solution to artwork needs.
After the morning preview, Stahls’ Welcome Center was open Friday and Saturday of the show offering attendees ongoing demos of products and equipment and hands-on experience with the latest innovations in garment decorating.
