True red discharge ink?

Anyone mind giving me the ratio of enviroline 301 red dye to black dye I'd need to get a close to red like QCM XOLB 408 brite red.  The straight 301 dye is more of a orangish red.  Thanks in advance.

You need a dye that is more on the Blue shade of red to match that color.

There is no black in the XOLB-408 formula, but there is a very small amount of white.

Whatever you do, avoid using any black in a bright red DC mix.  Try rubine and warm red types for a bright, rich red.

Also, keep your activator low.  Start at 3% ZFS and go up from there, testing until you find a happy point where the red is bright (i.e., the fabric is discharging acceptably) but not getting that blown out, pastel look from being over-activated.

Thanks for the help, I'm printing white and red on black gildan 2000's tomorrow and was going to discharge with both white and red but needed deeper red than just using the 032 pigment so not being sure I could get that red by mixing, I decided to just go the plastisol route.  I'm definitely not confident when it comes to mixing pigments.

sericol red discharges really nice...  (I know that's not what you were looking for)..

we ran 4% activator on a bunch of black gildan 2000's ... didn't lose any brilliance even after washing.
