We're bad guys
« on: January 22, 2014, 03:36:36 PM »
2 years ago, a customer comes in and has us do some hockey shirts for us, and chase him down as best we could, we never got paid. So now, a couple of years later, a different guy from the team comes in and thinks we're being completely unreasonable because we won't print for him. "But I'm not the guy who..." he says. Well, did you wear one of the shirts? Are you on the team? So then he says they were planning on getting new shirts, but they won't come here, to which my partner say, "What makes you think we would take your business when you already stiffed us once?" The other guy is still on the team, and is ducking us. If it wasn't only $200, I'd sic a collection agency on him. OK, all aired out, feeling better now.

I would have laughed in his face, then called every local shop and warned them about their non-payment.  blacklisting crap customers should be more common.

I was thinking the same thing. Except have them pay for the old job and then pay for the new job but don't print the shirts. When they ask tell them your working on it, Printing has been really tight this month. Do that for lets say a year...then call them up and see if they want you to do another job for them. When they say that you never printed the last job they paid for. Say something like your partner took the money on that job not you.

We would gladly work with them if they paid, but this idiot doesn't think so. It wasn't him, so it's not his fault, and we are being unreasonable. The good part will come if he goes to one of the many businesses we contract print for, and we refuse the order and tell them why.

Also, I personally did the art, so they are going to have to pay someone for everything all over again, boo hoo
