Photoshop CS6 and Accurip
« on: January 30, 2014, 12:01:12 PM »
I haven't ran separation with photoshop in a while.  The problem I'm having is that I don't get the option to run separations with the accurip printer when running out films .  It keeps telling me to under the print settings dialog box to "remember to enable the printers color management in the print settings dialog box"  I've went to the dialog box and haven't found a option to enable it.  Is this something that has to be done in photoshop itself?

It's not a job if you love doing it.

Drop the .psd file into Illustrator and out put form there.  .psd will transfer spots if you still have your RGB channels intact but use dcs 2.0 for multichannel PS files.

Zoo beat me to it; that's how I've always done that. Illustrator sends it to AccuRIP, and AccuRIP prints the job...

Thanks for the info.  I will do that.  I would rather run from illustrator anyway.
