Ranar Micro Heads?
« on: December 27, 2013, 02:36:24 PM »
I purchased an older Ranar V-6600 without Micros... I have been searching for a place to find the replacement heads for it. I found one place and they were charging $425 each for them. Anyone know where I can get a better deal on them? Also searching for a cheap Conveyor Dryer?

Been down this road before. Sorry to say but your cheapest option is to buy a used press in decent shape with micros already on it. Unless you are replacing a few simple parts, rebuilding a press gets expensive FAST.
There is scarcely anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse, and sell a little more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man's lawful prey.

I've got a used, in good shape, Ranar 6/4 with full micros and adjustable off-contact and screen tilt on all heads for sale, comes with a full set of adult (Will fit down to Youth Small) and sleeve platens on it. $1200, It's in West Coast Canada, but I have an awesome N.A. freight broker and can arrange shipping at a very reasonable rate.

Link to ad with pictures on local Craigslist

As far as i can tell this is the same model that is still current from Ranar.
