Maybe their numbers are before calendaring?  Or, perhaps they only smoosh the outer, softer layer of the mesh.  It would still decrease OA thought....I'm stumped on that too.  Will call Alan at Murakami when I get time, he helped develop this mesh and has good technical knowledge of it.

There is a pic on that page that shows a close up of the mesh.
Been in the industry since 1996.  5+ years with QCM Inks.  Been a part of shops of all sizes and abilities both as a printer and as an Artist/separator.  I am now the Ink and Chemical Product Manager at Ryonet.
