I can guarantee you if we went CTS I would still have at least one unhappy guy out back and he would benefit the most from it.  The other two are too stupid to know what they have so CTS would benefit me and the business most of all.  You can give then all the best tools and equipment and in the end it still might not make some happy.  About the only thing we don't have is a CTS and my guys wouldn't last a week in another shop, they'd come crawling back to us, I know, I've seen it happen more than once.

Alan

If what you are saying is true, then I think it is time to revisit your staff and time to clean house.  my guys are so happy because they have some of the best tools to use in their job!  they have up-to-date technology which lets them work smarter not harder.  we have systems in place so they can success and take ownership of their position.

If I felt that way about anyone on my staff there would be a counseling session and then a termination if thing did not improve.

and btw having a revolving door is not good for business.

Bottom line, once you have a CTS, you will kick your self for a few months because you didn't do it sooner!!!!

M&R has requested we wait for the tec to uncrate...I'm good with that, he will be here Wednesday.
Much thanks to everyone who got us here and will bring us further.

I will continue to keep everyone in the loop...

Ron

so have you done an ROI on it yet?  what do you think it will be?

Looks sweet and I bet you are going to see a huge difference from doing film and output from the machines ect.

Hi Sam

Our ROI will be different as there are more moving parts to this puzzle than just this piece. The moving parts are too many to list - I'll mane a few....

Just one of the moving parts was proper screens for this. We spent about $25K on that alone (all during the the year). It has put us in a "no tape" arena. Just that savings, all by itself, saved us around $8-10K this year. No more film (BIG one) - 8-12 rolls a week - you add it up. There are more hard pieces of equipment on the way as well.

We think ROI will arrive somewhere around next fall or into 2015.

I'll keep everyone aware of our progress....

Ron, can you clarify what you mean by this? Is this the clear tape used for regi's and film attachment only? If so, HOLY COW.....how many production ready screens does that represent per day?
Thanks TSB gang!!
